Free up space
on your Mac and earn $CHIPS.
chippytea is an ultra-performant, native macOS app that clears space on your Mac and pays you $CHIPS for the space you free. Built with SwiftUI and Rust, it finds old build folders, project dependencies and installers you may no longer need. Review their estimated sizes, then earn $CHIPS for every cleanup you approve.

Solana · Pre-launchYour chips are not points. Every chip the app credits is paid out in $CHIPS to the wallet you link when you install — the space you free is the work, $CHIPS is the pay.
Free up space you no longer need — old build folders, dependencies, installers.
Every 100 MB of space freed for good earns one chip. Anything smaller carries forward.
Chips are paid out in $CHIPS to the wallet you link when you install.

How it works
Scan folders you choose for old build files, dependencies and installers.
Review each suggestion, its estimated size and what removing it would mean.
Move files to Trash, or choose permanent removal for eligible build files and dependencies. Downloads and installers are Trash-only.
Eligible permanent cleanup earns $CHIPS, paid to the wallet you link when you install.
Review the outcome in the cleanup history. Files in Trash still take up space.
How chips work
Chips are the counter for space saved. Clean something up for good and the space that stays free is counted: every 100 MB earns one chip, and anything smaller carries forward as scraps rather than being lost.
Chips are paid out in $CHIPS. Every chip the app credits is sent to the wallet you link when you install, at the published rate. Moving files to Trash frees nothing and earns no chips, and estimated sizes never update the counter.
$CHIPS is how the cleanup gets paid, not what it is measured in: the counter is space, the payout is the token.
